For an arena built to attract global media attention, broadcast quality is paramount. Our XHLWX-FL7-Pro luminaires are equipped with proprietary DMX/DALI drivers that utilize an ultra-high-frequency output to be completely invisible to modern broadcast cameras. We achieved a measured Flicker Factor of less than 0.3% and a TLCI rating of over 94. 2. Advanced DALI-Casambi Hybrid Control System
Flexibility and control were delivered through a sophisticated hybrid system. The mission-critical competition lighting (FL7-Pro Series) is managed via a wired DALI-2 network. DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) provides a robust, stable, and individually addressable control backbone, essential for the precise execution of certified competition scenes. For auxiliary and architectural lighting, including the seating areas and RGBW downlights, we integrated a Casambi Bluetooth Mesh network. This wireless layer provided significant savings on installation costs and offers unparalleled ease of use. Facility managers can use a tablet or smartphone to instantly adjust lighting zones, create new scenes, or trigger dynamic entertainment effects, without needing a dedicated control technician or complex wiring changes. This hybrid approach offers the best of both worlds: rock-solid reliability for competition and wireless flexibility for everything else.
3. Superior Glare Control (UGR<19) & High Efficacy (>160 lm/W)
Player performance and spectator comfort are directly impacted by glare. Despite the immense lumen output required for broadcast lighting, our solution achieved a Unified Glare Rating (UGR) of less than 19 across the field of play. This was accomplished through a multi-faceted strategy: specialized anti-glare nano-coatings on the lenses, integrated deep shielding on the FL7-Pro fixtures, and the precision aiming angles determined by our DIALux simulation. The result is an environment where players can look up to track a ball without experiencing debilitating glare. This is combined with a system-wide efficacy exceeding 160 lumens per watt. This industry-leading efficiency means the arena is illuminated to world-class standards using dramatically less energy, which directly translates to lower operational costs and a smaller carbon footprint.
Installation & Commissioning
Working in close collaboration with the main construction contractor, a seamless installation was executed over a three-month period. All XHLWX luminaires were pre-calibrated and stress-tested at our factory before shipping to minimize on-site issues.
