EN 12464-1 lux level table: Em, UGR, Uo and Ra by room

The values below follow EN 12464-1:2021 for 90 common indoor task areas — maintained illuminance Em, glare limit UGR, uniformity Uo and colour rendering Ra. Use it for a first sizing pass and a specification cross-check, then confirm against your national adoption (DIN EN, NF EN, NEN-EN, UNI EN, UNE-EN, BS EN) and the project brief. This table is a design aid, not a replacement for the standard.
